Our hypothetical project aims to connect people with architecture in the city. It would take place during the Aotearoa Festival of Architecture, and invites people to ‘take another look’ at interesting buildings that make up our built environment. It takes the form of a series of signs that act as ‘frames’ for a collection of special buildings. These highlight certain aspects and motifs located on the buildings, inviting people to check out the details of these hidden gems. The signs contain information about the buildings and encourage access to further information. The series of signs is supported by a set of promotional postcards that similarly frame the building motifs.
